Reflektorový dáždnik čierny priesvitný biely Elinchrom 26358 priemer 85 cm

The Elinchrom 26358 Reflector Umbrella Black Translucent White with an 85 cm diameter is a studio lighting accessory designed for controlled shaping of flash and continuous light. Combining a black outer surface, a translucent layer and a white inner panel, the umbrella allows photographers to switch between diffusion, bounce and directional reflection without changing modifiers. Its medium-large size balances coverage and control, making it suitable for portrait, product and small group shooting where consistent light quality is required.

Advantages

This umbrella provides versatile light control by combining translucent diffusion and a reflective white inner surface, while the black exterior limits unwanted spill and increases contrast when used as a reflector. The 85 cm diameter creates soft, gradual light falloff and natural-looking highlights. Construction is lightweight for easy mounting and repositioning on standard umbrella holders and light stands, and the design supports both direct and shoot-through use to accommodate varied studio workflows.

Suitable for

• Portrait and headshot lighting where soft, controlled light is required
• Product photography for small-to-medium items with even illumination
• Two- to three-person group shots in small studio spaces
• Mixed studio setups where quick switching between diffusion and bounce is needed

Key specifications

• Diameter: 85 cm for medium-large light spread
• Three-layer construction: black exterior, translucent middle layer, white inner surface
• Compatibility: fits standard umbrella mounts and shafts used in studio lights
• Weight: lightweight construction for easy handling and transport
• Shape: round for even radial light distribution

How to use

Mount the umbrella on a compatible umbrella holder or directly on a light source with a shaft that matches the umbrella’s central rod. For softened, even lighting use the umbrella in shoot-through mode with the light pointing into the translucent layer; position the umbrella close to the subject to increase softness. For bounce or more directional control place the light behind the umbrella and use the white inner surface to reflect light toward the subject; use the black exterior to shield unwanted spill or to create higher contrast. Adjust distance and angle relative to the subject and light to refine shadow quality and highlight size.

Recommendations

Use the umbrella with moderate to full power flash settings when placed farther from the subject to maintain exposure, and reduce power or move the light closer when needing very soft, near-source illumination. Combine with grids, flags or additional modifiers when precise control of background or rim light is required.
