Reproduktorový kábel ShiverPeaks 1,5 mm² (48x0,20 CCA) červený/čierny, 50 m

ShiverPeaks speaker cable 1.5 mm² (48x0.20 CCA) in red/black, 50 m, is a two-conductor audio cable intended for loudspeaker connections and audio installations. With a 1.5 mm² cross-sectional area and 48 strands of 0.20 mm copper-clad aluminium (CCA) per conductor, the cable provides a balance of flexibility and economical material choice. The red/black polarity marking simplifies correct channel identification and wiring for stereo and multiroom speaker systems.

Advantages

The cable offers a cost-effective alternative to pure copper conductors while maintaining adequate electrical characteristics for short to medium speaker runs. Its stranded 48x0.20 construction improves flexibility compared with solid conductors, making routing and installation easier in home and commercial environments. The red/black polarity insulation reduces the chance of reversed connections and speeds up installation in multi-speaker setups.

Suitable for

• Home stereo speaker connections
• Multiroom audio installations and distributed sound
• Commercial audio wiring for shops, cafés, and offices
• Temporary or budget-conscious installations where lightweight conductors are acceptable

Key specifications

• Conductor type: copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Cross-sectional area: 1.5 mm²
• Stranding: 48 strands × 0.20 mm
• Polarity marking: red and black insulated conductors
• Length: 50 m

How to use

Strip an appropriate length of insulation from each conductor to expose the strands, taking care not to nick the wire. Twist the exposed strands to form solid ends for reliable termination, then connect to speaker terminals or binding posts ensuring correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative). For solder or connector terminations, follow standard safety procedures and use compatible terminals designed for stranded CCA conductors. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of mechanical damage.

Recommendations

Use this 1.5 mm² CCA speaker cable for runs of short to moderate length; for long-distance runs or high-power applications consider cables with larger cross-sectional area or pure copper conductors. Verify connector compatibility and ensure secure terminations to minimize contact resistance and preserve audio quality.
