How to use

Before each use, check chain tension and oil level in the automatic lubrication tank and fill through the large opening if required. Use the tool-free tensioning system to set correct chain tension. Hold the saw with both hands using the ergonomic handle and the front claw stop when making cuts. Start the saw using the soft-start feature and operate at a steady pace—allow the chain to do the cutting. Activate the chain brake immediately if kickback occurs or when moving between cutting locations. After work, clean saw components and store the tool in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye and hearing protection, and cut-resistant clothing) and follow local safety regulations. For best results, use quality bar and chain oil and maintain the chain sharpness according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
