Reťazový zámok YALE HOME YCHC0/6/90/2 — bezpečnostná reťaz s hrúbkou 6 mm, číselný zámok

YALE HOME YCHC0/6/90/2 is a security chain with an integrated combination lock and a 6 mm chain thickness, designed for everyday urban use. The product is intended to secure bicycles, scooters and similar personal transport devices during short to medium stops. Its combination mechanism removes the need for a key and offers straightforward locking and unlocking while the 6 mm steel chain provides moderate resistance to cutting tools common in opportunistic theft.

Advantages

The integrated combination lock delivers keyless convenience and simple code management. A 6 mm steel chain balances portability and protection, keeping the lock compact enough for daily carry while adding physical resistance. The design suits quick stops in city environments and short-term outdoor use, offering a practical security option for commuters and urban riders.

Suitable for

• Securing city bicycles during short errands or commuting stops
• Locking electric scooters and kick scooters for quick outdoor pauses
• Temporary locking of folding bikes and shared-mobility vehicles
• Use in urban areas where portability and convenience are priorities

Key specifications

• Chain thickness: 6 mm
• Lock type: integrated combination lock (keyless)
• Intended use: short- to medium-term outdoor locking
• Typical applications: bicycles, scooters and similar urban vehicles

How to use

Wrap the chain around the frame and a fixed object such as a bike rack or pole, then insert the chain end into the integrated combination lock and set the code to secure the vehicle. To open, enter the pre-set combination and release the chain end. Follow the manufacturer’s guidance for setting and changing the combination to ensure reliable operation, keeping the code in a secure place and testing the mechanism after setting.

Recommendations

For improved security, lock the frame and one wheel to an immovable object and avoid leaving the vehicle unattended for extended periods. Combine the chain with additional security measures for long-term parking or high-risk areas, and store the chain indoors when not in use to minimise corrosion risk.
