How to use

Place the Dahle 558 on a flat surface and ensure the non-slip feet are in contact with the table. Align the material using the format lines or scale bars and set the adjustable backstop for repeat cuts. Position the material under the safety head, engage the automatic clamp along the cutting line if needed, and slide the rotary blade along the double guide bar to perform a single, continuous cut. After cutting, fold down the rear feet for upright storage if space is limited.

Recommendations

For consistent results, feed the material evenly and use the adjustable backstop for repeated formats. Replace or service blades according to usage frequency to maintain cutting quality and observe all safety precautions when handling the cutting head.
