Roadinger Flightcase TRM-202 MK3 pre 2U rackové zariadenie, ochranné puzdro

Flightcase Roadinger TRM-202 MK3 for 2U rackmount equipment is a protective transport case designed to accommodate and secure a single 2U rack unit. Constructed for regular use, the case provides rack-compatible mounting, foam padding and a robust outer shell to protect audio, IT and broadcast devices during transit and storage. The design facilitates safe handling, easy installation of rack gear and reliable protection against shocks and surface damage.

Advantages

The TRM-202 MK3 combines a reinforced plywood body with protective metal corners and recessed latches to reduce impact damage. Interior rails and mounting points are compatible with standard 19" rack equipment and provide stable fixation for a 2U device. Foam lining cushions sensitive components while the removable front and rear panels allow straightforward installation and wiring access. The case is optimized for frequent transport and staging operations.

Key specifications

How to use

Place the 2U rack unit onto the internal rack rails and align the mounting holes with the case's rack posts. Secure the device using appropriate rack screws and check that the foam padding sits snugly around the unit. Refit the front and rear panels and latch them closed before moving the case. Use the spring-loaded handles to lift and the recessed latches to secure the case during transport. For wiring, remove the rear panel to access ports while the device remains mounted.

Recommendations

Inspect mounting screws and foam inserts periodically, especially after heavy use or transit. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct moisture; if the case becomes wet, open panels and allow internal components and padding to dry fully before storage. For safe lifting, use two people for heavy loads and avoid overloading beyond the intended 2U device size.
