Dätwyler Cables S/UTP patch kábel Cat5e, zelený, 2 m sieťový kábel

Dätwyler Cables S/UTP Patch cable Cat5e, Green, 2m is a 2-meter unshielded twisted pair (S/UTP) networking cable designed for standard Ethernet connections up to Cat5e performance. The cable features RJ45-terminated connectors and a green outer jacket for easy color-coded installation in structured cabling environments. Intended for horizontal and patch panel connections, this Cat5e patch cable provides the wiring needed for data, voice and standard network applications within homes, offices and data closets.

Advantages

The Dätwyler Cat5e S/UTP patch cable delivers reliable 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps-capable connectivity where Cat5e specifications are required. The 2 m length balances reach and reduced clutter for patching between switches, wall sockets and network devices. The green jacket aids visual identification in multi-cable setups. Quality connectors and consistent pair twisting support stable signal transmission and reduced crosstalk compared with untwisted cabling.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and network peripherals to switches or wall outlets
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch short connections in network racks
• Small office, home office (SOHO) and residential networking
• Color-coded cable management and identification in structured cabling systems

How to use

Insert an RJ45 connector end into the Ethernet port of the network device and the other end into the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends, stretching, or placing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or unshielded fluorescent ballasts. Route the 2 m cable along cable trays or use cable ties to maintain tidy patching and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e S/UTP patch cable for typical Ethernet runs where Cat5e performance is sufficient. For environments with high electromagnetic interference or where higher bandwidths are required, consider shielded cables or higher category (Cat6/Cat6a) alternatives. Label both ends if used in larger installations to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
