How to use

Install the RB711-2HN in a central location for optimal 2.4 GHz coverage and connect its Ethernet port to your modem or upstream network. Access the device through RouterOS via web interface, Winbox or SSH to configure wireless SSID, security (WPA/WPA2 where supported), IP addressing and routing rules. Apply firmware updates from MikroTik as needed and save configuration changes to persistent memory.

Recommendations

For best results, place the router away from large metal objects and other 2.4 GHz sources (microwaves, cordless phones). Use WPA2 security where possible and limit channel overlap by selecting a clear 2.4 GHz channel to reduce interference.
