Rozvodná lišta pre 19-palcové UPS systémy, Philips, model 153883016, 2 m kábel, 10 A, sivá

This power extension strip is designed for 19" rack-mounted UPS systems from Philips (model 153883016). It provides additional AC outlets for servers, network devices and peripherals in data centres, server rooms and IT cabinets. The unit comes with a 2 m grey power cable and supports up to 10 A current, enabling organised power distribution inside a 19" rack environment.

Advantages

The extension strip offers a space-saving solution for increasing outlet capacity in rack-mounted UPS setups while maintaining a compact footprint suitable for 19" systems. Its 2 m cable length provides flexibility for connection within racks and adjacent cabinets, and the 10 A current rating is suitable for many small to medium-density IT loads. The grey finish integrates unobtrusively into professional rack environments.

Suitable for

• Expanding AC outlet capacity in 19" UPS units inside server racks
• Providing power distribution for rack-mounted servers and network switches
• Connecting peripherals such as storage devices, network appliances and monitoring equipment

When it may not be suitable

This extension strip is intended for use with rack-mounted UPS systems and moderate current loads; it is not designed for high-power equipment that exceeds the 10 A rating. It also may not be appropriate for standalone desktop applications where different outlet types or higher current capacity are required. Ensure compatibility with your UPS outlet form factor before installation.

Key specifications

• Form factor: power extension strip for 19" rack systems
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Maximum current: 10 A
• Colour: grey
• Intended application: rack-mounted UPS power distribution

How to use

Mount the extension strip in the 19" rack space according to the rack layout and secure it using appropriate mounting hardware. Connect the strip to the UPS outlets compatible with the strip’s plug and distribute connected equipment among the available sockets to balance load. Route the 2 m cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain. Verify that the combined current draw of connected devices does not exceed the 10 A rating.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm physical compatibility with your 19" UPS outlet form factor
• Calculate total current draw of devices to ensure it stays below 10 A
• Check required cable length and routing inside the rack
• Ensure the colour and dimensions fit your rack layout if aesthetics or space are important

Recommendations

Distribute power-hungry devices across multiple outlets and monitor total load. Use cable management to maintain airflow in the rack and periodically inspect connections for wear. For higher-density or high-power installations, consider a solution with a higher current rating or additional power distribution units.
