How to use

Power on the DuraScan D740 and pair it with your host device using Bluetooth according to the device pairing instructions. Point the scanner at the barcode so the illumination field covers the code and press the trigger to capture; the imager reads barcodes on paper labels and on-screen displays. For integration with applications, use native scanning support where available or install Socket Mobile Capture SDK for enhanced functionality and configuration options. Replace the battery when needed by following the field-replaceable battery procedure in the user manual.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the imager window clean and avoid scanning from extreme angles or distances beyond the recommended range. Verify your application is using the latest version of Socket Mobile’s Capture SDK when deploying advanced features or troubleshooting scanning reliability.
