Ručný káblový nož Knipex 70 01 125

The Knipex 70 01 125 hand cable cutter is a compact tool engineered for precise cutting of multi‑core and single cables in installation, repair and maintenance tasks. Its combination of steel cutting blades and a durable plastic handle delivers reliable performance in a small, easy‑to‑carry form factor. With an overall length of 125 mm and a slim profile, the tool is intended for one‑hand operation in confined spaces where accuracy and accessibility matter.

Advantages

The cutter's hardened steel blades provide clean, burr‑reduced cuts while the molded red handle offers ergonomic grip and control during repeated use. The tool's low weight and compact dimensions enhance maneuverability and reduce user fatigue when working overhead or in tight enclosures. Its simple, robust construction requires minimal maintenance and is compatible with common cable types used in electrical, telecom and automotive applications.

Suitable for

• Cutting insulated electrical cables and small multi‑core cables
• Precision trimming in installation and repair work
• Use in confined spaces, control cabinets and junction boxes
• DIY electrical projects and light professional use

Key specifications

• Overall length: 125 mm
• Width: 50 mm
• Weight: 80 g
• Materials: steel cutting edges and durable plastic handle
• Handle color: red

How to use

Position the cable between the cutting blades near the desired cut point, then squeeze the handles firmly and steadily to produce a clean cut. For thicker cables, use controlled, progressive pressure to avoid crushing the conductor insulation. After cutting, inspect the cut face for burrs and, if necessary, trim any remaining insulation or stray strands with an appropriate tool. Store the cutter in a dry place and ensure blades remain free of dirt and corrosion to maintain cutting quality.

Recommendations

Use the tool only on cable sizes appropriate for its compact cutting jaws; avoid cutting hardened wire or materials not intended for cable cutters. Regularly clean and lightly lubricate the pivot to preserve smooth operation and check blades for wear; replace the tool if cutting performance degrades.
