The Wiha 36542 Single One-way screwdriver is a 268 mm insulated manual screwdriver designed for safe work near live parts up to 1,000 V AC. It combines a slim blade for access to recessed screws with a SoftFinish® handle that improves grip comfort and reduces strain. The tool is made from chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel with a black finish and meets IEC 60900 and DIN ISO 8764-PH standards. Each screwdriver is individually tested at 10,000 V AC and approved for use at 1,000 V AC.

Advantages

How to use

Select the Wiha 36542 screwdriver when you need insulated access to recessed screws. Ensure the tool is intact and undamaged before use; do not use if insulation is cracked or worn. Use the slim blade to reach deep-set screws and apply controlled torque using the SoftFinish® handle for comfortable grip and precise control. Only use the screwdriver on live parts within the specified 1,000 V AC rating and follow local electrical safety procedures.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the insulation and handle for damage, clean the tool after use, and store it separate from non-insulated tools. Replace the screwdriver if any part of the insulation or blade is compromised. Follow applicable safety regulations when working on electrical installations.
