Video káblový adaptér S/CONN 10-71075 10 m DisplayPort HDMI Type-A čierny

The S/CONN 10-71075 is a 10 m video cable adapter with a DisplayPort connector on one end and an HDMI Type A (Standard) connector on the other. It enables direct connection between DisplayPort-equipped source devices and HDMI displays or projectors, transmitting video and audio signals over a single cable. The cable’s 10-metre length and black finish make it suitable for longer runs in home entertainment setups, office workstations, conference rooms and classroom installations where a reliable, straightforward digital link is required.

Advantages

This video cable adapter provides a single-cable solution for sending DisplayPort output to HDMI inputs, combining compact connectors with a flexible 10 m cable length. The adapter supports both video and embedded audio transmission, reduces cable clutter compared with separate audio runs, and is finished in black to blend with most AV setups. The straightforward design requires no external power or drivers and is compatible with devices that support DisplayPort video output and HDMI input on the receiving device.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop PC or laptop with DisplayPort to an HDTV or monitor with HDMI
• Integrating a DisplayPort source with a projector in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Home cinema setups where a longer cable run is needed
• Temporary AV installations and trade-show booths that require simple, reliable cabling

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Signal type: Digital video and embedded audio
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort plug to the video output on the source device (such as a PC or laptop) and plug the HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI input of the display device (monitor, TV or projector). Ensure both devices are powered on and the display input is set to the corresponding HDMI port. If the source device supports multiple displays, adjust display settings in the operating system to select resolution, refresh rate and audio output as needed. No additional drivers are typically required; if audio is not received, check the source’s audio output settings and the display’s input configuration.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free from sharp bends and strong electromagnetic interference. For best results, route the cable away from power lines and avoid tight coils; secure the cable with cable ties or clips to reduce strain on connectors. When connecting high-resolution sources, verify that both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate over the DisplayPort-to-HDMI connection.
