Suitable for

• Paring and fine trimming of wooden components
• Cutting and fitting joints such as mortises and tenons
• Cleaning out grooves, dadoes and rabbets
• General joinery and furniture repair tasks

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 4 chisels
• Intended use: woodworking — paring, fitting, joint work
• Packaging: compact display box for storage and transport
• Blade profile: straight bevel edge suitable for hand paring and chiselling
• Handle type: ergonomically shaped handles for controlled grip

How to use

Select the chisel width appropriate to the task and secure the workpiece in a vise or clamp. Hold the chisel with a comfortable grip and position the bevel as required for a slicing or paring cut. For removing large amounts of material, use controlled mallet strikes if the chisel and handle are designed for mallet use; for fine trimming, use hand pressure and short slicing motions. Maintain a stable cutting angle and work incrementally to avoid removing excess material.

Recommendations

Keep the chisels sharp and clean to ensure precise cutting and to reduce the risk of slips. Store them in the supplied display box to protect the edges. Before use, inspect handles and blades for damage and re-sharpen blades as needed with appropriate stones or honing systems for woodworking chisels.
