How to use

Insert the chosen gobo into the fixture’s 16 mm holder or A-size frame following the fixture manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the pattern side faces the light source. Secure the gobo in the holder, slide or mount the holder into the gobo slot, then focus and adjust beam size using the fixture’s zoom and focus controls to achieve the desired projection. Change templates by powering down the fixture as recommended for safety, removing the holder, swapping the gobo, and reinserting the holder. Verify correct alignment and focus after each change.

Recommendations

Use the gobos with fixtures rated for the lamp type and heat output in your system; avoid prolonged exposure to extremely high temperatures if the gobo material is not specified for high-heat sources. Clean templates only with a soft, dry cloth and store them flat in a protective case to prevent warping or scratches. When used in rental or repeated-installation scenarios, label frames and holders to speed up changes and maintain consistent projection alignment.
