Sada vrtákov Bosch EXPERT Self Cut Speed 3-dielna — priemer 20/22/25 mm, model 2608902107

Bosch EXPERT Self Cut Speed 3-piece drill bit set contains flat wood bits with diameters 20 mm, 22 mm and 25 mm designed for fast cutting and producing clean, precise holes. The set is supplied as three separate cutters that cover common bore sizes for joinery, installation and through-holes in timber and composite wood materials. The geometry of the bits focuses on rapid material removal while maintaining a neat edge around the hole to reduce tear-out and finishing time.

Advantages

The flat bits are engineered for quick penetration and efficient chip ejection, which speeds up repetitive drilling tasks. A self-cutting tip reduces wandering at the start of the cut and helps maintain accurate centring without the need for pilot holes. The combination of the three diameters in a compact set provides flexibility on site and for workshop use, allowing selection of the exact hole size needed for fittings, dowels or cable pass-throughs.

Suitable for

• Drilling through soft and hard timber
• Creating holes for dowels, bolts and fittings during furniture assembly
• Making cable and pipe pass-throughs in wood-based panels
• Repetitive installation work where consistent hole diameter is required

Key specifications

• Type: flat / spade-style wood drill bits with self-cutting tip
• Set contents: three diameters — 20 mm, 22 mm, 25 mm
• Intended materials: timber and wood-based panels
• Design focus: fast cutting, efficient chip ejection, reduced tear-out
• Packaging: compact three-piece set for convenient selection and transport

How to use

Mark the centre of the hole, secure the workpiece to prevent movement and select the appropriate drill bit diameter for the required opening. Fit the chosen bit in a drill with appropriate chuck capacity and start drilling at moderate speed to engage the self-cutting tip, then increase speed as penetration continues. Use steady pressure and withdraw occasionally to clear chips if drilling deep holes. After cutting, check the hole edges and remove any remaining splinters or roughness before assembly or finishing.

Recommendations

Use clamps to secure thin panels and back the workpiece with sacrificial timber when drilling through laminated surfaces to minimise tear-out; maintain sharp bits and replace if dull to preserve cutting performance and hole quality.
