For best results avoid applying to dusty, oily or wet surfaces; allow newly applied labels to set before subjecting them to mechanical stress or extreme conditions.

Recommendations

For durable marking of electronic components and equipment, clean surfaces with a mild solvent or isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry fully before application. Store unused sheets flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance and finish.
