Dual Hot Swap. Switch battery, stay powered
Replace the battery on Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro instantly without having to reboot, so there's no lost progress. Two replaceable 5,050mAh batteries with a combined capacity of 10,100mAh, provide extended usage for demanding tasks, while fast charging via USB-C and POGO helps you power up quickly and stay on track.

Keep going without a battery
Stay powered, even without a battery. When working in high-temperature environments or using a kiosk, No Battery Mode allows the device to operate directly from a power source, without using the battery. Simply plug into a power source and continue working without interruption.

How to use

Power on the tablet and complete initial setup with your Google account and network settings. Insert a SIM or enable eSIM for mobile connectivity, or connect to Wi‑Fi 6E where available. Use the touchscreen — responsive even with gloves — to run field apps, scan barcodes with assigned Active Key shortcuts, or accept Front Tagging NFC payments on the front screen. For extended shifts, carry an extra battery to hot‑swap without rebooting or connect to external power and use No Battery Mode in stationary or high‑temperature scenarios.
