SATA napájací adaptérový kábel Sharkoon 15 cm — adaptér pre SATA napájacie konektory

SATA power adapter cable Sharkoon 15 cm is a compact internal cable designed to connect SATA storage devices to a computer power supply. With a 15 cm length, this adapter converts and extends existing PSU power leads to a standard SATA power connector, allowing reliable power delivery to HDDs, SSDs and optical drives inside desktop systems. The cable supports tidy cable routing and fits typical PC case layouts where a short, flexible power lead is required.

Advantages

The Sharkoon SATA power adapter cable provides a straightforward way to add or extend a SATA power connection without modifying the power supply. Its short 15 cm length reduces excess cabling inside the case while still allowing convenient connection to nearby drives. The adapter is compatible with standard SATA power pinouts to ensure stable power delivery and straightforward installation. The construction is intended for internal PC use and supports neat cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives and SATA SSDs to a PSU
• Powering internal optical drives in desktop PCs
• Extending or converting existing power leads for compact or crowded cases
• Replacing a short or damaged SATA power lead without replacing the entire PSU

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 cm
• Connector type: SATA power connector (standard 15-pin)
• Application: Internal PC power connection for storage and optical drives
• Compatibility: Standard SATA power pinout for HDDs, SSDs and optical drives
• Mounting location: Internal use within desktop computer cases

How to use

Power off the PC and disconnect it from the mains before installation. Route the adapter cable inside the case to the target drive bay, then attach the SATA power connector to the drive’s power socket until it seats firmly. Connect the other end to an available PSU power lead or to a compatible adapter from the power supply. Ensure the cable is not kinked or pinched by case panels and that airflow around drives is not obstructed. Reconnect power and power on the system to confirm the drive receives power.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only for internal PC installations and check connector alignment before inserting. Avoid excessive bending or pulling on the cable to prevent damage. If multiple drives require power, ensure the power supply has sufficient capacity and use additional certified cables or adapters as needed.
