SCART na HDMI konvertor ShiverPeaks SP90-08018 – digitálny video adaptér pre SCART zdroje na HDMI výstup

ShiverPeaks SP90-08018 is a compact SCART to HDMI digital video converter that allows connection of analog SCART sources to modern HDMI displays. The adapter converts composite/RGB SCART signals to HDMI output, enabling playback from legacy devices such as VCRs, older set-top boxes and retro gaming consoles on HDTVs or monitors. The device is designed for straightforward, plug-and-play use and for digitizing or viewing analog video on HDMI-equipped screens.

Advantages

The converter provides simple signal translation from SCART to HDMI without requiring driver installation or complex setup. Its compact housing and single-cable HDMI output make it suitable for temporary connections and fixed installations alike. The adapter preserves the input device's video format where possible and outputs a clean digital HDMI signal compatible with most modern TVs and monitors.

Suitable for

• Viewing VHS tapes and other analog recordings on HDMI TVs
• Connecting retro gaming consoles with SCART output to modern displays
• Digitizing footage from older set-top boxes or camcorders
• Integrating legacy AV equipment into contemporary AV setups

Key specifications

• Input: SCART (analog composite/RGB compatible)
• Output: HDMI (digital video signal)
• Conversion: Analog-to-digital video conversion
• Operation: Plug-and-play, no drivers required
• Power: External power required (via included power adapter or USB power, depending on kit contents)
• Compatibility: Works with SCART-equipped VCRs, set-top boxes, and consoles

How to use

Connect the SCART cable from the legacy device to the converter’s SCART input, then connect an HDMI cable from the converter’s HDMI output to the TV or monitor. Apply power to the converter using the supplied power adapter or USB power source. Power on the source device and the display, select the corresponding HDMI input on the display, and playback should appear. For digitizing content, connect the display or capture device to the HDMI output according to the capture device manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

To ensure best results, use well-shielded SCART and HDMI cables, verify the source device is set to the appropriate video output mode (composite or RGB), and allow the converter a moment to detect and stabilize the signal after power-up. If the picture does not appear, try a different HDMI input or check power connections on both the converter and the source device.
