The Schneider Pictus fineliner is designed for precise writing, sketching and technical illustration. This pack contains three black fineliners with a metal-encased, durable tip and water-based pigmented ink that dries quickly, resists smudging and meets waterproof standard ISO 14145-2. The pen body is manufactured from at least 85% recycled plastics, making it suitable for everyday use by students, artists and professionals who need reliable fine-line performance.

Advantages

Pictus fineliners deliver long-lasting, bright black lines thanks to pigmented, quick-drying ink with excellent lightfastness and waterproof properties. The metal-encased writing tip ensures consistent precision and durability, while the available line widths and sturdy plastic body support detailed work with rulers and stencils. The use of recycled plastics in the barrel reduces material consumption without affecting functionality.

How to use

Uncap the fineliner and test the tip on a scrap of paper before starting your work. Replace the cap after use to prevent drying. For best results, store horizontally and avoid extreme temperatures.

Recommendations

Use the Schneider Pictus fineliner for precise ink work on paper and illustration boards. Because the ink is pigmented and waterproof, it is suitable for mixed-media workflows where ink permanence is required. Avoid applying water-based washes directly over heavily inked areas until the ink is fully dry.
