Seagate SkyHawk AI 32 TB 3,5 palca SATA HDD 7200 ot/min, úložisko optimalizované na sledovanie

Seagate SkyHawk AI 32TB is a 3.5-inch SATA hard drive with a 7200 RPM spindle speed engineered for continuous surveillance recording and edge-AI video analytics. The drive offers very high capacity and sustained write performance to support multi-camera streams and long-duration video retention in NVRs, DVRs and server environments. Designed to handle high annual workloads, this surveillance-optimized storage balances capacity, performance and reliability for systems that require uninterrupted recording and frequent write activity.

Advantages

The drive delivers large single-drive capacity together with 7200 RPM performance for faster sequential writes and improved responsiveness when handling concurrent camera streams. Optimized firmware and workload tolerance reduce dropped frames during continuous recording, while the design supports integration with AI-enabled video analytics at the edge. Enterprise-class reliability features and surveillance-focused tuning make it suitable for 24/7 operation and heavy write cycles.

Suitable for

• Network video recorders (NVRs) for multi-camera surveillance systems
• Digital video recorders (DVRs) and hybrid surveillance systems
• Edge-AI appliances performing video analytics and object detection
• Server storage for long-term video archival and retention
• Large-scale CCTV installations requiring continuous write capability

Key specifications

• Form factor: 3.5-inch SATA
• Capacity: 32 TB
• Spindle speed: 7200 RPM
• Interface: SATA (serial ATA)
• Optimized for continuous surveillance workloads and AI-enabled video streams
• Designed for high sustained write throughput and multi-stream recording
• Suitable for 24/7 operation in NVR/DVR and server environments

How to use

Install the drive into a compatible 3.5-inch SATA bay in your NVR, DVR or server following the system manufacturer’s instructions. Configure RAID or storage pools as required for redundancy or capacity, and ensure firmware and system drivers are up to date. Allocate the drive for continuous recording or archival storage according to retention policies, and verify camera stream settings and recording schedules to match storage throughput capabilities.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, operate the drive within the host’s specified temperature and vibration limits and perform periodic firmware updates when provided by the vendor. Use appropriate RAID configurations or backup strategies for critical recordings, monitor drive health with SMART or system diagnostics, and size storage capacity according to camera count, resolution and retention requirements to avoid unexpected fill-up.
