SEAGULL SHQ Circular Polarizer filter 40.5mm

The SEAGULL SHQ Circular Polarizer (CPL) Filter with a 40.5mm diameter is an essential accessory for photographers looking to enhance image quality directly in-camera. Designed to reduce glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces, this filter deepens blue skies, increases color saturation, and improves overall contrast. Crafted from high-quality optical glass with a multi-coated surface, it ensures minimal light loss and maximum clarity. The durable aluminum alloy frame provides a secure screw-on fit for lenses with a 40.5mm filter thread.

Advantages

By using a circular polarizer, you can achieve richer, more vibrant colors without post-processing. It effectively cuts through haze and reflections on water, glass, and foliage, making it ideal for outdoor and landscape photography. The filter reduces light by approximately 1-2 f-stops, allowing for slower shutter speeds or wider apertures in bright conditions.

Suitable for

• Landscape photography
• Architectural photography
• Water scenes and seascapes
• Outdoor portraits
• Any situation where glare reduction and color enhancement are desired
