Why choose it

This adapter cable solves a common connectivity problem: connecting newer DisplayPort outputs to older DVI inputs. It supports high-definition video up to WUXGA, ensuring crisp, clear images for presentations, spreadsheets, and multimedia. The gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and ensure reliable signal transfer, while the double shielding reduces interference for stable performance. Its passive design means no power supply or software installation is needed—simply connect and go.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a desktop or laptop with DisplayPort to a DVI monitor in an office or home office.
• Using a DVI projector for presentations from a modern laptop.
• Extending or mirroring displays in multi-monitor setups where one monitor has DVI input.
• Replacing a missing or damaged DVI cable by using this adapter with a standard DVI cable.

Good to know

The adapter is uni-directional: it only works from a DisplayPort source to a DVI display. It does not support audio, so separate speakers are needed for sound. The DVI connector is DVI-D Single Link, meaning it carries digital signals only and supports resolutions up to 1920x1200. For higher resolutions or analog signals, a different adapter would be required. The cable is RoHS compliant and built to last with a durable PVC jacket.
