Senzor vonkajšej teploty a vlhkosti Gardena 19040-20

The GARDENA smart Sensor is placed in the soil next to a plant to measure soil moisture and soil temperature. It is designed as an extension for the GARDENA smart system Start Set and requires a GARDENA smart Gateway to operate, which is included in the start sets.

Advantages

The sensor measures soil moisture quickly and reliably to enable economical watering by activating irrigation only when necessary. Its compact, modern design allows use anywhere in the garden, in planters, on terraces or balconies. The large sensing zone measures moisture directly at the root zone and works in different types of potting soil. The extra-flat head lets the sensor be positioned in the middle of lawns without obstructing mowing robots or lawnmowers. It transmits measurement data wirelessly to the GARDENA smart Gateway and runs on 2 AA batteries (not included) for operation over a full garden season.

Suitable for

• Automatic garden watering systems connected to the GARDENA smart Gateway
• Monitoring soil moisture and soil temperature for potted plants, flowerbeds and lawns
• Integration into the GARDENA smart system Start Set

Key specifications

• Measurements: soil moisture and soil temperature
• Connection: wireless radio to GARDENA smart Gateway (gateway required)
• Power: 2 × AA batteries (not included)
• Design: compact, extra-large sensor zone, extra-flat head

How to use

Plant the GARDENA smart Sensor into the ground next to the plant so the sensing zone is positioned at the root area you want to monitor. Pair the sensor with the GARDENA smart Gateway according to the gateway and app instructions. Place the sensor where it will not be displaced by garden work; its flat head allows safe placement in lawns. Replace the two AA batteries when battery level is low to maintain seasonal operation.

Recommendations

Use the sensor as part of a GARDENA smart system with the GARDENA smart Gateway and app for automatic irrigation control; avoid placing the sensor in permanently waterlogged soil and check battery status before the main growing season.
