Sériový kábel ShiverPeaks BS78047-3 sivý 3 m DB-15

The ShiverPeaks BS78047-3 Grey 3m DB-15 is a 3-metre serial cable designed for reliable point-to-point data transmission between devices that use a DB-15 connector. Constructed with a durable outer jacket and secure connectors, this grey cable provides a stable physical link for legacy serial ports, industrial equipment, and specialized peripherals where DB-15 interfaces are required.

Advantages

This cable offers a consistent signal path over its 3 m length and is built to resist wear from repeated insertion and movement. The DB-15 connector provides a firm mechanical connection and straightforward installation. The grey jacket helps visually integrate the cable into professional and office environments while offering protection against abrasion and light mechanical stress.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices with DB-15 serial ports
• Linking industrial controllers and instrumentation
• Interfacing legacy computer equipment and peripherals
• Temporary or permanent point-to-point data links in offices and workshops

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 metres
• Connector type: DB-15 (male/female depending on device pairing)
• Color: grey
• Construction: shielded serial cable with durable outer jacket
• Typical use: serial data transmission for devices with DB-15 interfaces

How to use

Identify the DB-15 ports on the two devices you intend to connect and ensure power is switched off on both devices before making the physical connection. Align the DB-15 connector with the device port and engage gently until the connector is seated; if the connector includes screws or thumbscrews, tighten them to secure the connection. After the cable is installed, power on the devices and configure any required serial communication parameters (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) in the connected devices or host software.

Recommendations

For stable performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive strain near the connector ends, and route the cable away from high-voltage or strong electromagnetic sources. When used in environments with heavy mechanical activity or exposure to moisture, consider supplemental strain relief or protective conduit to extend service life.
