Install the Inter-Tech 1U-10240 into a standard 19" rack and fit a compatible Flex-ATX or other supported power supply (not included). Mount the chosen motherboard and secure drives in the available 2.5" or 3.5" bays according to your storage needs. Connect the two 40 mm fans to the motherboard or fan controller for adequate airflow. Use the front USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for easy external device connection and the universal slot bracket for additional expansion cards if required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, ensure the selected power supply matches the system power requirements and allow airflow by not blocking front and rear ventilation. Use 2.5" drives for higher bay density and choose 3.5" drives only when larger capacity per drive is required.
