Serverová skriňa Inter-Tech 2U-2129N Rack čierna, strieborná

The Inter-Tech 2U-2129N Rack Black, Silver is a 2U server case engineered for rack-mounted installations where space efficiency, durability and practical connectivity are required. Designed to house standard server components, it supports up to six 3.5" hard drives and two 5.25" drive bays within a compact chassis measuring 482 mm (width) x 680 mm (depth) x 89 mm (height). The steel construction and black-and-silver finish provide a professional appearance suitable for data centers, server rooms and IT closets. The case fits a wide range of motherboard form factors and includes an 8 cm cooling fan and front USB ports for basic connectivity.

Advantages

The 2U form factor balances rack density with component accessibility, allowing efficient use of rack space without sacrificing internal drive capacity. Steel construction offers structural strength and thermal mass for stable operation. Built-in cooling with an 8 cm fan and front-facing USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports provide essential connectivity for maintenance and peripheral attachment. The neutral black and silver finish integrates into typical server environments while the compact depth supports installations in standard rack cabinets.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business rack servers
• Network-attached storage (NAS) with multiple 3.5" drives
• Virtualization hosts and test lab servers
• Edge computing or branch office server deployments
• Service and maintenance stations requiring front USB access

How to use

Mount the Inter-Tech 2U-2129N into a compatible 19" rack using standard rack screws, aligning the chassis with the rack rails. Install the chosen motherboard and power supply (power supply not included) according to the motherboard and PSU manufacturer instructions. Populate 3.5" and 5.25" bays with storage or optical drives and connect drive power and data cables. Connect the front panel USB ports to the motherboard headers. Ensure the included 8 cm fan is oriented for appropriate airflow; configure additional cooling as needed for higher thermal loads. After assembly, perform power-on tests and check BIOS/UEFI settings and drive recognition before placing the server into production.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a compatible ATX or SSI EEB power supply with adequate wattage and cooling. Maintain clear front and rear airflow paths in the rack, and consider adding supplementary fans or rack-mounted cooling if operating with many drives or high-load components. Regularly monitor drive temperatures and perform scheduled backups when using the case for multi-drive storage arrays.
