In daily use

Installed inside the fuser unit, this delivery sponge works silently to keep the fuser roller clean and lubricated. Over time, paper dust and toner particles accumulate on the roller, leading to poor fusing and print defects. The sponge’s absorbent structure holds the correct amount of fuser oil, releasing it gradually to maintain a consistent film on the roller surface. This reduces friction, prevents toner from sticking where it shouldn’t, and extends the life of the fuser assembly. For high-volume office environments, replacing the sponge as part of scheduled maintenance avoids unexpected downtime and costly repairs.
