shiverpeaks BASIC-S sieťový kábel zelený 7,5 m Cat7 S/FTP RJ-45

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable Green 7.5 m Cat7 S/FTP RJ-45 is a high-performance patch cable designed for structured cabling and point-to-point Ethernet connections. With a length of 7.5 metres, Category 7 compliance and S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, this cable is intended to deliver stable data transmission and improved protection against electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance while the green jacket facilitates easy identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding design reduces crosstalk and external interference for consistent signal quality across high-speed networks. Category 7 specification supports higher bandwidth and frequency handling than lower category cables, making it suitable for gigabit and multi-gigabit applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure durable, low-resistance connections and enhance long-term reliability. The 7.5 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-switch runs or short backbone links, and the colored jacket helps with visual cable management.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections in home or office networks
• Structured cabling between patch panels, switches and workstations
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference requiring shielded cabling
• Audio/video distribution, streaming and low-latency gaming setups
• Visible cable runs where color-coded identification is useful

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: stranded copper (flexible patch cable construction)
• Jacket color: green

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 plug to the network port on your device (PC, switch, router or patch panel) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and proximity to mains power lines to minimize interference. For permanent installations, verify length and routing before securing the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable for runs within the 7.5 m length and keep it separated from high-voltage power cables. When connecting to high-speed network equipment, check port settings and firmware to ensure compatibility with Cat7 capabilities. Store and handle the cable without crushing or kinking the jacket to preserve shielding integrity.
