shiverpeaks BASIC-S sieťový kábel žltý 15 m Cat7 S/FTP

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable Yellow 15 m Cat7 S/FTP is a 15-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for wired LAN connections that require Cat7 performance and shielding. The cable uses S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable high-speed data transmission. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 male connectors for reliable contact and corrosion resistance. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility in cabling runs and helps with quick identification in network installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and Cat7 specification provide improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with lower-category cables, supporting reliable throughput in dense or electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer consistent conductivity and reduced contact wear over time. The 15 m length balances reach and signal integrity for office desks, server racks, or home networking setups. The yellow outer sheath simplifies cable management and fault finding in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting workstations, switches, and routers within offices or data closets
• Cabling between network equipment in server rooms and lab environments
• High-speed home networks and media streaming setups requiring shielded cabling
• Temporary installations and event networking where cable visibility is important

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 male to RJ-45 male, gold-plated contacts
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding tight kinks to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. Plug each RJ-45 male connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the connector latch clicks into place. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If used in permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties without compressing the jacket excessively.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use the cable within its specified category limits and maintain bend radius recommendations. When connecting critical network equipment, verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices, and replace connectors or cables if physical damage or intermittent connectivity appears.
