This adapter cable bridges the gap between legacy German TAE-F telephone sockets and modern RJ45 network ports. Unlike standard patch cables, it uses a TAE-F plug with pins A-4 and B-5 wired to an RJ45 plug, making it a direct solution for connecting DSL modems or telephony devices to structured cabling.

Highlights

• TAE-F plug (A-4, B-5) to RJ45 plug
• Short 0.25 m length for tidy connections
• 4-conductor telephone/DSL wiring
• Part of the BASIC-S product line

In daily use

Use this cable to connect a TAE-F device, such as a DSL splitter or analog telephone, to an RJ45 port on a router, patch panel, or network outlet. The compact length reduces clutter and signal loss in tight installations.
