SHIVERPEAKS BS08-41081-4 Cat8.1 F/FTP sieťový kábel, 15 m, modrý

High-speed networks demand cabling that can keep pace with 25 and 40 Gigabit Ethernet. The SHIVERPEAKS BS08-41081-4 Cat8.1 patch cable delivers exactly that: a 15-metre, fully shielded F/FTP construction engineered for 2000 MHz bandwidth and data rates up to 40 Gbit/s. Whether you're connecting servers in a data centre, linking a high-performance workstation to a 10G switch, or future-proofing a home office for multi-gigabit internet, this blue cable eliminates bottlenecks and ensures error-free transmission over longer distances.

Who is it for

IT professionals, network administrators, and power users who need reliable, high-throughput connectivity in demanding environments. It's ideal for data centres, server rooms, and advanced home setups where 10GBASE-T, 25GBASE-T, or 40GBASE-T equipment is deployed. Backward compatibility with Cat6a, Cat6, and Cat5e means it also works perfectly with existing infrastructure, making it a versatile upgrade path.

Main features

• Cat8.1 performance: supports up to 40 Gbit/s and 2000 MHz, exceeding Cat6a and Cat7 capabilities.
• F/FTP shielding: each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded, plus an overall foil shield, providing superior protection against alien crosstalk and EMI.
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors (50µm) ensure low contact resistance, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability.
• 22 AWG stranded copper conductors offer a balance of flexibility and signal integrity, suitable for frequent reconnection.
• Durable PVC jacket protects against physical wear while maintaining flexibility for easy routing.
• 15-metre length is perfect for spanning server racks, running along walls, or connecting devices across a room.

Tips

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the minimum bend radius (typically 4x cable diameter). When installing in high-density racks, use cable management to prevent strain on connectors. This cable is not rated for outdoor or in-wall use unless protected by conduit; for those applications, consider an LSZH or outdoor-rated variant.
