FireWire IEEE 1394b kábel 9-pólový na 9-pólový, 5,0 m, čierny — Divers CO 77305

FireWire IEEE 1394b cable with 9-pin connectors on both ends, 5.0 m length and black jacket. Designed to provide high-speed serial digital connections between compatible devices such as computers, audio/video equipment and external storage using the IEEE 1394b protocol. The cable's 9/9-pin configuration and extended 5.0 m run enable flexible device placement while maintaining reliable data transfer rates for multimedia and data applications.

Advantages

This IEEE 1394b cable offers a 9-pin to 9-pin connection that supports high-speed serial transfers and is suitable for a range of multimedia and storage devices. The 5.0 m length provides greater installation flexibility without the need for intermediate extenders. The robust black jacket protects conductors from mechanical wear and helps reduce interference, while secure connector housings ensure stable mating and consistent signal transmission.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers to external hard drives and RAID enclosures that support IEEE 1394b
• Linking audio interfaces, digital mixers and recording equipment in studio setups
• Transferring video and DV footage between cameras, camcorders and editing systems
• Connecting legacy IEEE 1394b-compatible peripherals to workstations or hubs

Key specifications

• Interface: IEEE 1394b (FireWire)
• Connector configuration: 9-pin to 9-pin
• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Color: black
• Cable type: shielded serial digital data cable suitable for multimedia and storage applications

How to use

Identify the IEEE 1394b 9-pin ports on both devices, align the 9-pin connectors and insert them firmly until the housing seats securely. Use the 5.0 m cable to place devices at a comfortable distance while ensuring the cable is not tightly bent or pinched. For best results, connect devices while powered off if supported by the equipment, then power on and verify the host system recognizes the peripheral. Follow device-specific instructions for data transfer or audio/video streaming setup.

Recommendations

Avoid running the cable parallel to power cords or high-frequency sources to minimize electromagnetic interference. Do not sharply bend or kink the cable; maintain gentle curves and secure routing to prevent strain on connectors. Inspect connectors periodically for signs of wear and replace the cable if shielding or contacts become damaged.
