Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-22030 sivý 2 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22030 Grey 2 m Cat6 U/UTP is a 2 metre Ethernet patch cable designed for fast wired network connections. It uses Cat6 specifications with U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall screening) build and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support reliable signal transmission and reduced contact corrosion. Rated for data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, this grey cable is suitable for typical home and office networking needs where a short, high-performance link is required.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat6 performance with a compact 2 m length for tidy installations and minimal excess cabling. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and resistance to oxidation, while the U/UTP construction balances interference protection and flexibility. The neutral grey jacket provides a discreet appearance that integrates well into residential and professional environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or network printers to a router or switch
• Short runs between patch panels and wall sockets in small offices
• Home network connections for streaming, online gaming and file transfers
• Temporary or permanent links in meeting rooms and workstation desks

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 2 m
• Cable type: U/UTP (overall screened unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices until it clicks into place. Ensure the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain gentle curves with a turning radius larger than the cable diameter. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large power transformers or microwave ovens.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m Cat6 cable for short, direct connections where gigabit performance is required. For runs longer than 100 metres or environments with heavy electromagnetic interference, consider using higher grade cabling or shielded alternatives as appropriate.
