Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-26095 čierny 20 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-26095 Black 20 m Cat6a S/FTP is a 20-metre Ethernet cable built to support high-speed network connections that require improved shielding and reliable signal integrity. Designed to meet Cat6a performance, the cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to maintain stable conductivity over repeated insertions. The black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for visible runs in home or office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable combines enhanced shielding and standardized pair performance to deliver consistent throughput for gigabit and 10-gigabit networks over short to medium distances. The foil-wrapped overall shield and individually shielded twisted pairs reduce external interference, while the gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer corrosion resistance and improved contact. The 20 m length allows flexible placement between devices without signal repeaters in typical small-office or residential setups.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and PCs in home networks
• Office desktop and workstation network links
• Connecting networked AV equipment and streaming devices
• Short-run 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within a single room or rack

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/foil and individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Black
• Conductor arrangement: Twisted pair

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other end to the target device such as a PC, NAS or media player. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from mains power cables where possible to minimize potential interference. For permanent installations, use cable clips or trunking to secure the cable along walls or under desks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6a cables. When connecting equipment in rack environments, label both ends for easier identification and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Verify network device settings and use compatible Cat6a-capable hardware to achieve rated performance.
