Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-26605 čierny 60m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-26605 Black 60m Cat6a S/FTP is a 60-meter Category 6a Ethernet cable designed to support high-speed wired networks. The cable uses S/FTP (shielded with foil around each pair plus an overall braid) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and it is terminated with RJ‑45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable signal transmission. The black jacket offers a neutral, professional appearance suitable for visible runs in home or office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves immunity to external interference and helps maintain stable throughput over longer distances compared with unshielded cables. Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and lower alien crosstalk than lower category cables, making this cable suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications at supported lengths. Gold-plated RJ‑45 contacts provide corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality. The 60 m length reduces the need for couplers or additional patching in medium to large rooms or between equipment racks.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices, data closets, and server rooms (within supported distance limits)
• High-bandwidth home networks for streaming, gaming, and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs where shielding is required to minimize interference
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices over medium-length runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid plus foil around each twisted pair
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 60 meters
• Color: Black outer jacket
• Conductor arrangement: Four twisted pairs

How to use

Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to preserve the shielding and pair integrity. Terminate each end into RJ‑45 ports on network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or NICs; ensure connectors are fully seated and clips engage securely. For installations in environments with potential electromagnetic interference, connect cable shields to properly grounded metalwork or chassis at one or both ends according to local grounding practices. When measuring run lengths, account for slack and bends; 60 m provides a single continuous run without intermediate patching in many setups.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic fields. Use appropriate cable management—cable ties, trays, or conduits—and maintain bend radii greater than the manufacturer’s minimum to prevent signal degradation. Verify network performance after installation with standard testing tools to confirm adherence to Cat6a parameters.
