Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-41054 červený 5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41054 Red 5m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a 5‑meter high-speed Ethernet cable designed to meet Cat8.1 performance requirements. Constructed with F/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors plated in gold, this cable supports high bandwidth and reduced electromagnetic interference for stable data transmission. The red outer jacket provides visible cable identification and a distinct appearance for rack or desktop installations.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding around individual pairs and an overall foil layer minimize crosstalk and external noise, helping maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or active electronics. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time, while the Cat8.1 specification enables higher frequency operation suitable for short-distance, high-throughput links. The 5 m length balances reach and performance for typical networking layouts.

Suitable for

• High-speed server-to-switch connections in data centers and server rooms
• Workstation connections requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth links
• Patch panels and rack-mounted network equipment where color coding aids management
• Short-run backbone links within telecom closets and distribution frames

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 performance class
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 meters
• Cable color: Red
• Suitable frequency range: up to Cat8.1 specified frequencies (for short-reach, high-speed links)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch engages. Use the cable to connect compatible network devices such as switches, routers, servers, and network interface cards that accept RJ-45 terminations. Ensure cable routing avoids sharp bends and excessive pulling tension; maintain recommended bend radius as indicated by standard installation practices. For permanent installations, use proper cable management such as cable ties and patch panels to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links in controlled environments. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible, and verify device compatibility with Cat8.1 or backward-compatible Ethernet standards. Color-coded cabling simplifies identification during maintenance and troubleshooting.
