Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-64060 sivý 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-64060 Grey 7.5m Cat6 S/FTP is a 7.5 metre Ethernet cable built to the Cat6 standard with S/FTP shielding. It is fitted with RJ‑45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts that improve conductivity and reduce signal loss. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for offices, server rooms and home network installations while supporting high-speed data transmission and stable network links.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its overall screen plus individually foil‑shielded pairs, which helps maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple electronic devices. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts ensure reliable mating and lower contact resistance. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across moderate distances without the need for additional patching, and the cable’s construction conforms to Cat6 performance parameters for gigabit Ethernet and beyond.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Linking network equipment in small office and home office (SOHO) setups
• Patch cabling between wall outlets and network devices in wiring closets
• Applications requiring reduced interference such as near power lines or crowded equipment racks

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 metres
• Standard: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ‑45
• Contact plating: Gold plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Grey
• Typical use: Ethernet data transmission up to gigabit speeds

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of the device you wish to connect. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power cables for extended lengths. If used in a structured cabling environment, label each end as required for easy identification.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable within its length specification and pair it with compatible Cat6 networking equipment. Avoid kinking the cable and keep connectors free of dust. In high‑interference environments consider grounding the network rack or using shielded patch panels to preserve the shielding benefits.
