Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-64074 červený 10 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-64074 Red 10 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 10-metre network cable designed for reliable wired Ethernet connections. Featuring Category 6 performance and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduces electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact quality and resist corrosion. The red jacket provides clear visual identification in mixed-cable environments and can be used in home, office, or data-center patching.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around the twisted pairs and an overall shield help minimize crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable throughput for applications that demand consistent network performance. Cat6 specification enables higher bandwidth compared with earlier categories, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and many high-bandwidth uses. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors deliver more reliable mating and longer contact life. The 10 m length offers flexibility for routing between equipment without the need for extra couplers.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches, routers and NAS devices
• Patching in small server rooms and office network closets
• Home network wiring for streaming, gaming and video calls
• Temporary or permanent cable runs where color coding is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 10 metres
• Jacket colour: Red

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring bends are gentle to avoid damaging the internal pairs or shielding. Insert the RJ-45 plugs fully into device ports until they click to ensure secure contact. For neat installation, secure the cable along racks or walls using cable ties or clips, avoiding tight bundles near power cables to reduce potential interference. Test the connection with network diagnostic tools or the device interface to confirm link speed and connectivity after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances and maintain proper bend radius. Use the red colour to mark specific network segments or critical links for easier identification during maintenance.
