Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75210-100SSP sivý 100 m Cat5e F/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75210-100SSP Grey 100m Cat5e F/UTP is a 100-metre Ethernet cable manufactured to Cat5e standard with F/UTP shielding and a grey jacket for visual identification. Designed for structured cabling in residential and commercial environments, this cable supports typical Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data transmission over copper cabling. The F/UTP construction provides protection against external electromagnetic interference, helping to maintain signal integrity in installations with potential sources of noise.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually unshielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference while retaining flexibility for routing and termination. The Cat5e standard ensures compatibility with existing Ethernet equipment and supports common network speeds and protocols used in homes and offices. A 100 m reel length minimizes joins in longer runs and simplifies deployment across a single installation.

Suitable for

• Wiring local area networks (LAN) in homes and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers, and patch panels within structured cabling
• General purpose Ethernet runs for IP cameras, VoIP phones, and workstations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m
• Category: Cat5e
• Shielding: F/UTP (overall foil shield, twisted pairs unshielded)
• Jacket color: Grey

How to use

Plan the cable route to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Measure required run lengths and cut the cable from the reel. Terminate with compatible RJ45 connectors or use punch-down termination on keystone jacks or patch panels designed for Cat5e. Ensure correct pair orientation and maintain recommended untwisted pair length at terminations to preserve performance. Test each link with an appropriate network cable tester after installation to verify continuity and signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running this F/UTP cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain separation from large electrical equipment. Use proper strain relief and cable management to prevent damage during installation, and certify links for the intended network speed after termination.
