Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75550-S čierny 50 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75550-S Black 50m Cat7 S/FTP is a high-performance network cable designed for demanding Ethernet applications. This 50 m Cat7 cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for consistent signal integrity. The black outer jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for visible installations in homes, offices, and server rooms.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually shielded pairs to deliver enhanced protection against external noise and inter-pair interference. Cat7 specification support enables higher bandwidth and improved transmission characteristics compared with earlier cable classes. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable electrical contact over repeated insertions. The 50 m length offers flexibility for medium to large installations without the immediate need for additional patching points.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• High-speed local area network (LAN) segments
• Connections to switches, routers, patch panels, and network appliances
• Environments with increased electromagnetic interference where shielded cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 7 (Cat7)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 50 meters
• Connectors: RJ-45 terminated with gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: Black

How to use

Run the cable between network devices following standard installation practices, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Ensure both ends are securely plugged into RJ-45 ports on switches, routers, or endpoint devices. For wall or in-ceiling routing, verify compatibility with local fire and building codes regarding cable jacket rating and installation method. When terminating to patch panels, verify pair alignment and maintain the shield continuity to preserve S/FTP performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic fields. Use appropriate cable management such as clips or trays to prevent strain and bending radii that exceed manufacturer guidelines. When connecting to equipment in racks or cabinets, maintain consistent grounding to ensure the shield provides effective protection.
