Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75550 sivý 50 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75550 Grey 50 m Cat7 S/FTP is a 50-metre network cable designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding network environments. Constructed to Cat7 standards with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, this cable balances signal integrity and mechanical durability. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for residential and commercial installations.

Advantages

Shielding on both the overall cable and individual pairs reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain consistent throughput over longer runs. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability. The Cat7 specification supports higher frequencies than earlier cable categories, enabling improved headroom for advanced Ethernet, multimedia streaming, and large file transfers. The 50 m length offers flexibility for medium-distance runs without additional joins.

Suitable for

• Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet networks
• High-definition video streaming and media servers
• Office network cabling and structured cabling infrastructure
• Home networks requiring minimal interference and stable connections
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket colour: Grey

How to use

Route the cable between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels, and workstations, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve internal pair geometry and shielding. Terminate or connect the RJ-45 ends into the corresponding ports; ensure connectors are fully seated. For permanent installations, secure the cable using appropriate clips or cable management accessories and maintain separation from power lines to minimize residual interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 S/FTP cable for backbone links or connections where shielding is required. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances, and follow installation best practices regarding bend radius and strain relief. Test link performance with a network tester after installation to verify continuity, correct pairing, and acceptable signal levels.
