Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75717-HR červený 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75717-HR Red 7.5 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 7.5-metre Cat6 patch cable designed for structured network connections. It combines S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts to provide consistent data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference in Ethernet installations. The red jacket offers a distinct visual marker for easy identification in multi-cable environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed network applications. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 connectors enhance conductivity and resist corrosion for stable long-term connections. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for desktop, server rack, or wall-to-wall runs without excess slack, and the clearly coloured jacket simplifies cable management and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in home and small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels, and networked devices
• Structured cabling where reduced interference and clear identification are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with foil on individual pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Conductor: twisted pair copper conductors
• Jacket colour: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (such as a switch, router, or network interface) and the other connector to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. For rack installations, route the cable through cable organizers or ties to avoid sharp bends and maintain the cable's bend radius. Avoid placing the cable alongside high-power electrical lines to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for environments where consistent Gigabit performance and reduced interference are important. Label both ends when deploying multiple coloured cables and maintain appropriate bend radius and strain relief at terminations to prolong cable life and connection reliability.
