Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75725-HG zelený 15 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75725-HG Green 15 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 15-metre Cat6 patch cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. It is designed to deliver reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance across short to medium runs in residential and business environments. The cable’s green jacket provides clear visual identification for structured cabling and makes it easy to trace in patch panels and network closets.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individual foil-wrapped pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transfer and lower error rates. Cat6 electrical characteristics enable support for 1 Gbps Ethernet and improved frequency response compared with lower category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts resist corrosion and maintain consistent signal transmission over repeated insertions. The 15 m length covers common desk-to-switch and rack-to-workstation connections without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office desktop and workstation cabling
• Patch panel to switch links in small server rooms
• Areas with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-wrapped pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 15 metres
• Jacket colour: Green
• Typical supported data rate: Up to 1 Gbps (depending on network equipment and installation)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (router, switch or network interface) and the other end to the corresponding port on your computer, patch panel or peripheral. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is felt and avoid tight bends near the connector to preserve shielding and pair geometry. For best results, route the cable away from large power sources and high-voltage cabling that can introduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat6 cable for reliable Gigabit connections where shielded cabling is required. When installing in patch panels or conduit, maintain the minimum bend radius specified by Cat6 standards and avoid untwisting more than a short length at termination points to preserve performance.
