Sieťový kábel S/CONN 75725-HR červený 15 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75725-HR Red 15m Cat6 S/FTP is a 15-metre, red Cat6 ethernet cable designed for modern wired networks. It implements S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain contact reliability and resist corrosion. The cable is intended for high-speed data transfer and stable connections in home, office and professional network environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides combined overall screen and individually shielded pairs for improved signal integrity in environments with potential interference. Cat6 performance supports network speeds suitable for gigabit Ethernet and enhanced bandwidth compared with lower-category cables. The 15 m length covers mid-range distances between devices without needing patch panels or additional extensions. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts offer reliable electrical contact and reduced oxidation over time. The red outer jacket enables easy visual identification of network runs.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and endpoints
• Structured cabling in offices, server rooms and data closets
• Home networking where a visible color-coded cable is preferred
• Audio-visual installations requiring shielded data lines

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, or network interface) and the other connector to the corresponding device or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius recommended for Cat6 to preserve performance. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat6 cable in environments where reduced interference and clearer signal transmission are important. Avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to power lines or heavy machinery that generate strong electromagnetic fields. For installations requiring PoE, verify device compatibility and power requirements. Periodically inspect connectors for debris and reseat connections if intermittent issues occur.
