Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP 20 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat 6 S/FTP 20m is a 20‑metre Ethernet cable designed to deliver stable, high‑speed wired connectivity for home and office networks. Constructed to Cat 6 standards with S/FTP shielding and RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating, the cable supports fast data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference. The neutral grey jacket provides a discrete appearance that integrates easily into existing cable runs and installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines overall foil shielding with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over longer runs. Cat 6 performance enables reliable Gigabit Ethernet and supports applications that require consistent throughput. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and corrosion resistance, maintaining stable connections over time. The 20 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or in larger workspaces without additional patching.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections for desktops, servers and switches
• Home network setups including smart TVs, game consoles and NAS devices
• Office workstations, VoIP phones and video conferencing equipment
• Structured cabling in small offices and meeting rooms where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 (performance for Gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector: RJ‑45 with gold‑plated contacts
• Length: 20 metres
• Jacket colour: Grey
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Route the cable between network endpoints avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain bend radii as recommended for structured cabling and keep the cable away from strong EMI sources such as large electrical motors or unshielded power lines. Plug the RJ‑45 connectors fully into compatible ports on routers, switches, network cards or other Ethernet devices until they click into place. For permanent installations, secure the cable along surfaces with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6 S/FTP cable in shielded environments or where interference may affect signal quality. Test network links after installation using network diagnostic tools to verify throughput and link integrity. When running multiple cables in parallel, maintain separation from power cabling when possible and avoid kinking or excessive stretching of the cable.
