Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat. 7 15m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 15m is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in professional and home network environments. Constructed with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping maintain signal integrity over its 15-meter length. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion for prolonged reliable connections.

Advantages

This Cat. 7 cable offers enhanced noise protection through its S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair with overall shield) construction, delivering stable throughput in electrically noisy environments. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and reduced oxidation compared with unplated contacts. With a 15 m length, the cable supports flexible placement of network equipment without compromising signal performance, making it suitable for longer runs where consistent performance is required.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches, and networked devices in offices and data closets
• High-speed LAN setups for file transfer, video streaming, and online gaming
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference such as server rooms or areas with many electronic devices

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 7
• Length: 15 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield plus individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: stranded or solid copper (depending on installed variant)
• Typical applications: Gigabit Ethernet and multi-gigabit network links

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on a router, switch, modem, or computer. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable away from high-power electrical lines and avoid tight bends or kinks to preserve the shielding and conductor integrity. For wall or conduit installations, verify that the cable meets local installation requirements and bending-radius guidelines.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, pair the cable with Cat. 6A or Cat. 7 compatible network equipment and avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power lines. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or corrosion and replace the cable if shielding or connector integrity is visibly compromised.
