Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat. 7 75517-R

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 75517-R is a 7.5-meter S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office networks. It uses a fully shielded design to reduce electromagnetic interference and is fitted with RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal transfer. The cable's red jacket provides clear visual identification and helps organize network runs in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction provides protection against crosstalk and external EMI, improving signal integrity at high frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance corrosion resistance and ensure sustained low-resistance connections over time. At 7.5 meters length, the cable offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between racks without intermediate extenders. The durable outer jacket and solid connector assembly deliver reliable mechanical performance for repeated plug cycles.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, NAS devices, and network printers to routers or switches
• Wired connections in home entertainment setups and gaming stations
• Office workstations and conference room network connections
• Structured cabling where color-coded cables simplify management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 7 (S/FTP)
• Length: 7.5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: Foil around each pair plus overall braid (S/FTP)
• Jacket color: Red
• Conductor type: Twisted pairs, copper conductors

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device (router, switch, computer, or NAS) and connect the other end to the corresponding port of the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain bend radii consistent with standard Ethernet cabling practices. For permanent installations, use cable clips or ties to fasten the cable along paths and keep it clear of power lines to reduce potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat. 7 S/FTP cable for applications requiring high immunity to interference and stable gigabit or multi-gigabit throughput. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic noise. For best results in professional structured cabling, terminate and test connections according to established network installation standards.
