Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 30 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 30 m is a 30-metre high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair plus overall braid) protection and fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this blue cable supports demanding network environments where reduced crosstalk and improved signal integrity are required. It is suitable for structured cabling in homes, offices, server rooms and multimedia installations where consistent, low-noise connections are needed.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving throughput stability over longer distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure corrosion resistance and dependable contact with network ports. A 30 m length offers flexibility for routing between switches, routers and wall outlets without intermediate patch points. The cable's Category 7 specification supports higher bandwidth applications compared with lower category cables.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between routers, switches and PCs in home or office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, video conferencing and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs in server rooms, network closets and multimedia installations
• Environments with higher electromagnetic interference where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 7
• Shielding type: S/FTP (foil shield per pair plus overall braid)
• Length: 30 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or network interface on a PC) and the other plug to the destination port. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installation in walls or conduits, follow local regulations and use appropriate cable management and strain relief. Test the link after installation with a network tester to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the manufacturer's recommended minimum. Use shielded connectors and grounded patch panels where available to preserve the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and ensure ports are clean before insertion.
